For the first time in a long time, our club did an international project, partnering with One Child El Salvador. With the help of our members Henry Davis, Nick, Shreiber, and Ron Larson (among others), 300 books were purchased and delivered to Escuela Cristiana La Magdalena school in El Salvador. The children's books were written in Spanish, English and English/Spanish.

El Salvador has one of the world's hightest illiteracy rates. Our club hopes that, with these books, the children in this school will have books they can check out, take home, and read. Our plan is to send another 300 books to the school later this year. A special thanks to Henry Davis who hand delivered a suitcase full of the books to the school and helped build shelves for the school's library. ... See MoreSee Less
