WE CONNECT PEOPLE

Rotary unites more than a million people

Through Rotary clubs, people from all continents and cultures come together to exchange ideas, and form friendships and professional connections while making a difference in their backyards and around the world.

WE TRANSFORM COMMUNITIES

We take action locally and globally

Each day, our members pour their passion, integrity, and intelligence into completing projects that have a lasting impact. We persevere until we deliver real, lasting solutions.

WE SOLVE PROBLEMS

No challenge is too big for us

For more than 110 years, we’ve bridged cultures and connected continents to champion peace, fight illiteracy and poverty, promote clean water and sanitation, and fight disease.

The eye-opening presentation by Dave McCleary, past President of the Roswell Rotary Club & current Chair of the zone 33/34 Task Force re: the realities of human trafficking make us even more grateful for the safety & well-being we & our families enjoy. 50 million are estimated to be enslaved world-wide & 85% of the confirmed sex trafficking victims in the US are American citizens. 100 minor women are sexually exploited each night in Georgia. What was begun by Dave in 2012 when he founded the Rotary End Human Trafficking Now initiative has spread across the world & 62 rotary clubs are now actively working to educate communities & support efforts to stop this horrendous crime. It was an exciting morning Thursday with the induction of 2 new members, Andy Ratasepp & Troy Johnson by President, Henry Davis & their sponsors Bruce Varner & Heath Williams. 👏

Plus! The new Interact club tee shirt was presented to Henry by Whitney McPherson. 💕 On top of that, we had several new guests, including local author Sharon Thomason (pictured) AND an eye-opening & informative program(see next post). whew!! That’s a lot to pack in an hour! 😉 ... See MoreSee Less
